I did not have time to post my outfit on Thursday, and on Friday I was not at work / took a blog break.

This is what I wore to work on Thursday. Again, apologies for the quality and composition of the photos. The only full-length mirror I have access to at this time is the restroom at work, and I get so nervous that someone is going to come in and think I’m bizarre for taking photos in there that I rush them!

Someone from work may be reading this right now and laughing at me, hehe.

I am wearing the a Kensie Long-Sleeve Cowl-Neck T-Shirt Dress in Heather Charcoal.

I’ve wanted a heather grey dress since my college days, when I had a lovely turtleneck fit-and-flare jersey dress which made me feel like Princess Leia (Princess Leia never wore a grey dress which I know of, but that’s what the dress made me feel like – someone strong, diplomatic, witty, and completely able to hold her own, as well as someone with poise and beauty.)
That dress went missing during one of my many moves and I’ve never found anything close to a suitable replacement.

This dress has a cowl neck rather than a turtleneck, and does not have any “fit” – it actually drapes from the shoulders, but it looks great with a belt (at least, I hope that others will think so!) But it’s the first grey dress I’ve seen in decades which… makes me feel like Princess Leia.

I’m wearing it with a vintage black leather belt, ivory tights, and black fabric flats. For warmth in the morning I added a black cardigan. But the fun thing about the grey is that I can completely change the appearance of it by adding colorful accessories rather than keeping it so monochromatic.

Here’s a close-up of my only other accessory for the day – I wore a pair of earrings that were simply a dangly line of silver ending in a touch of sparkle.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this outfit at least half as much as I enjoy wearing the dress! Bye now and see you again soon!
