foxy lady

It’s easiest for me to blog on work days, and I was home from work yesterday, so I’m a day behind on outfit posts.

On Sunday, my family and I visited Science Museum Oklahoma. It was a casual, interactive outing. The museum has exhibits which require patron participation – some include jumping or cycling – and there are gardens to stroll through. So I wore a very casual outfit.

Here’s a close-up I took of my hair and make-up. I prefer a fairly natural look; I often use lip balm with no color, and find that my deep-set eyes look best with light shadows and little to no liner rather than, say, the smoky eye.
I plan on doing make-up – and other personal product – reviews in days to come.

I’m not afraid to admit that the jeans I’m wearing are the same jeans I wore on January 1. I tend to wear jeans at least twice before laundering them, unless I’ve dirtied them beyond redemption.
(Popsugar and Mashable are two sites which have tackled the question of how many times people wear articles of clothing before laundering them. What’s your opinion?)

My fox sweater was a birthday present from approximately five years ago. I adore it, as I love foxes (and birds – particularly crows and owls). It rather desperately needs to be “shaved”, as repeated wears have caused it to pill. I am afraid to hurt it!

I apologize for the blurriness of the picturess. I’m using a cel phone and am not sure how to use it for outfit shots, other than asking family members to assist me with them. And some members of my family are not terribly excited to be conscripted into help with my blog! (Some of them are not fabulous cel phone photographers. Neither am I, at times, as evidenced in my next entry’s photos.)
